The Old Testament referring to the holy city of Jerusalem uses the names: Jerusalem, Sion, City of David, City of God, Salem, the Holy City etc. In this city Christianity triumphed in the 4th century with the untold number of Christian churches which Saint Helen and Saint Constantine built. This Holy City with a history of over three thousand years constitutes a religious and worship centre for all three monotheistic religions. Christianity with centre the Church of the Resurrection, Judaism with the Wailing Wall and the Muslim with the mosque of Omar and of El-Aksa.
